Ingredients:
- 2 tbs of oil
- 1/4 cup onions (chopped)
- 1 tbs garlic (minced)
- 1 kg tomato ( chopped)
- 1-2 green chili pepper
- 1/2 cups of coriander (chopped)
- 1/2 can of tomato paste
- 1/2 tbs of salt
- 1/4 tbs of black pepper
- 1/2 sick of butter
- 2 tbs of oregano
- 1 tbs of nutmeg
- 1 tbs of thyme
Procedure:
- In a non stick pan heat up 2 tbs of oil
- add onion, garlic, salt and green chili pepper. stir till the onions are translucent
- add the tomatoes
- mix the tomatoes well and let is simmer for about 15-20 mins
- add tomato paste, black pepper, oregano, nutmeg, thyme and coriander.
- let it simmer for another 15-20 mins
- add butter and mix well
- let it cook for another 5 mins (the tomatoes just be mashed and paste like)
- let it cool for about 10 mins before putting it in the blender
- Blend the tomatoes in the blender
- Cool the sauce before storing it in the fridge.
