Ingredients:
- Round Steak (1 piece)
- olive oil (2 tbs)
- salt ( 1-2 pinches)
- pepper (1-2 Pinches )
- garlic ( 2 cloves crushed)
- butter (1/4 stick)
- onion (minced)
- Worcestershire sauce ( few drops)
- paprika
- black pepper
Procedure:
- take out the steak from the fridge and leave it at room temperature for 20-30 mins
- season the steak with salt, pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce
- Heat a non stick pan (make sure it really HOT)
- add 1 tbs of olive oil (wait till its hot)
- place the seasoned steak cuts on the pan
- let it cook for 5-8 mins on the side
- FLIP IT (dont flip it back again)
- add butter and garlic
- cook for another 5-8 mins
- take it off the pan and put it on a plate. Let it rest for about 15-20 mins before you cut the steak
- in the mean time, using the butter and garlic in the pan, add onion and red wine. Reduce to make a sauce.
- plate the steak by cutting into pieces (dont make them too thin) and drizzling the sauce on top of it.
- Enjoy with mash potato and steamed vegetables.
